About Rob Robbins
Immerse yourself in the captivating musical performances of Rob Robbins, a versatile pianist, singer, and entertainer. With his dynamic stage presence and soulful renditions, Rob brings the nostalgia of vintage eras to life, encompassing genres from Swing, 1950's Crooners, early Rock and Roll, 1960's Showtunes, the Best of the Beatles, to the singer-songwriters of the 1970's and 80's. His engaging performances evoke emotions and energize spirits, creating an unforgettable experience for audiences.


At the age of sixteen, Rob began his musical career as a pianist/vocalist in the lounge at Lakewood Theater, the oldest theater in the State of Maine. Headliners such as Milton Berle & Della Reese found their way to the lounge after their evening’s performance where they gathered around the piano giving Rob some pointers on how to entertain & capture an audience.

Since that summer in 1978, Rob has performed in first-rate hotels, resorts & restaurants from Maine to Florida & in-between. Rob’s impressive repertoire & versatility in styles of Pop, Jazz/Swing, Rock, light classics & more earned him the title “Portland’s Piano Man.” He led his back-up band for Jay Leno’s performances and performed for First Lady Barbara Bush in Kennebunkport. In addition, he had his own house band at the Sheraton Hotel & the original Valle’s Steak House in the Portland area.

He held four successful summer seasons in Harbour Town on Hilton Head Island, S.C. and then began what would become a 10 year winter engagement at the Colony Hotel in Delray Beach, FL and ten summer seasons at the Bethel Inn in Maine.
More recently, Rob had just completed four years as house entertainer at The Wentworth Inn & Resort in Jackson, N.H.
